Fresh Pond Master Plan Implementation

Fresh Pond Master Plan Implementation

The City of Cambridge invites you to attend
Public Meeting #1
For the Fresh Pond Reservation Northeast Sector Improvements
Wednesday, October 10, 2001
6:30 PM
At the
Cambridge Senior Center

806 Massachusetts Avenue
(across from Cambridge City Hall, Central Square T-stop)
Cambridge, MA 02139

The City will be soliciting public input at this meeting prior to commencing Schematic Design.

The 25-acre project site is entirely within the Fresh Pond Reservation and surrounds, but does not include, the Neville Manor site. Project components include a new youth soccer field west of Neville Manor, new walking trails, and ecological restoration of natural woodlands and meadows within the site. This is the first major task in the Fresh Pond Master Plan to be implemented since it was adopted by the City Council in January 2001.

Questions regarding this meeting or Fresh Pond Reservation, please call Chip Norton at 617-349-4781.
