 Newsletter #37August 13, 2024 https://alewife.org This ASG Newsletter includes the following updates: Danehy Park Improvement Plan Working Group Meeting #3 Wednesday, August 14, 2024, 5:30-7:00 p.m. The City of Cambridge is planning to make changes to Danehy Park and to develop a plan for improvements that will happen over the next 10-15 years. A working group made up of city workers and neighbors has started discussing the improvements at monthly meetings. Mike Nakagawa from the ASG steering team is a member of the working group. The first meeting in June was a kick-off meeting, introducing the working group members and giving some background on the park and goals for the group. The second meeting in July discussed: – ways to let people know about the process – how to get ideas from people in groups that are less likely to hear about or comment on the project on their own.This is the agenda for the next meeting, which will be on zoom, from the project webpage – Review how we will incorporate engagement suggestions as we proceed with the project – Discuss specific goals and objectives for future improvements at Danehy Park – Public Comment The link to the meeting has not yet been posted on the Cambridge website calendar.
