Re: MBTA proposed Hi Rail Access Tunnel at Alewife

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful fall!!
I’m writing on behalf of the Alewife Study Group with some requests for further information. I thought it would be more efficient to email you, but I’m also happy to chat by phone if that works better for you. My cell is xxx-xxx-xxxx. Could you email:
-A list of the participants in the Oct 21 meeting
-A copy of all the written comments on the NOI
-All pages of the NOI application
-A description of materials the T proposes to use
Could you ask the proponents to provide renderings for the following:
- Elevations from both the north and the south side.
- Elevations with heights and lengths of their proposed walls. We know they will be anywhere from 4’8″ tall to 16’8″ tall, but we don’t know where they will be at what height. Nor for how long they will run at such and such a height. (We do not want to see the proposed green screening, but the walls.)
- A rendering that reveals what someone standing on two of the overlooks (the two on the west side of what was the 4-acre meadow) would actually see
- An elevation of the proposed doorway
- Proposed location and size of compensatory flood storage
- An overhead of the roof.
